It was a bright early summer’s day when I met up with Paula and Edd to take their engagement photos ahead of their wedding, which is taking place this weekend at The Casa Hotel in Yateley.
We were really lucky that the Rhododendrons were out in full force, showing off their spectacular blooms and providing the perfect backdrop for the lovely couple’s engagement photoshoot at a beautiful park in Bracknell.
I love the way that the colour pop of the pink flowers complements Paula’s dress and how natural and in love the couple look.
Engagement photography not only gives me the chance to get to know a couple, it also helps me understand what they like and don’t like about having their photo taken, how they feel in front of the camera and it helps them to get use to me – making their wedding photography as relaxed as possible.
Plus, it has the added bonus that the couple get some lovely pre-wedding photographs to cherish and look back on.
From meeting the couple that weekend, I know Paula is going to make an amazing bride on Saturday and the Edd’s reaction to seeing his wife will make some wonderful wedding photos. I’m so delighted to be involved in their special day.
In the meantime, while we eagerly anticipate their wedding day, here’s a sneak peek from their engagement photo-shoot….
