Wokefield Park engagement shoot

The weather Gods were smiling on us when we visited Wokefield Park in Berkshire at the weekend to take Christine and Sean’s engagement photos and have a look around the grand wedding venue in preparation for their big day.

I’ve never shot at Wokefield Park before but it’s certainly magnificent – the building is a beauty and a great backdrop for wedding photos, so I’m really looking forward to the April wedding, when I’ll be shooting alongside Chris Powell for Spacebar Productions.

The weather was crisp and bright so we were able to make the most of the gorgeous colours that the end of autumn brings.

Engagement shoots provide photographers with the chance to meet with wedding couples and find out how they tick: do they like the camera or are they shy and need some reassurance?

As a wedding photographer, this experience is invaluable and gives me the knowledge I need to capture the couple as they are on their big day, not forced or fake.
