We were truly blessed with beautiful spring weather when Ellie and Alex tied the knot at Wasing Park – it most certainly was a delightful wedding to photograph.

Wasing Park is such a popular venue for many reasons – it has a great atmosphere, stunning grounds and the chance to get married in a church or as part of a civil ceremony. Ellie and Alex had the best of both worlds as they combined a civil ceremony in The Garden Room and then had a blessing at the 15th Century Parish Church of St Nicholas, which is set with Wasing Park’s grounds.

Ellie looked beautiful in a stunning off-white dress with lace capped sleeves, just right for the March weather. Her gorgeous long veil created the ability to add some variations to the wedding photos as it caught the light spring wind.

Meanwhile Alex opted for an on-trend dark blue suit with contrasting dark brown shoes. This wedding style for grooms and groomsmen seems to be a trend that is set to stay for the 2018 wedding season. His powder blue tie and button hole of spring flowers added an element of freshness.

As well as the beautiful backdrop of the venue, the photographs for Ellie and Alex’s wedding were made even more exiting by the use of two amazing cars supplied by Wedding Supercars. It’s not every day that I get to photograph a Ferrari and a Maserati! If you’re looking for a wedding car supplier then I highly recommend Wedding Supercars . I’ve been photographing weddings for a long time and have the pleasure of meeting lots of other supplier and I have to say I was really impressed by their professionalism but also their sense of fun and pride in what they do.

As well as the cars we were also able to use the blooming daffodils as an added extra to the wedding photographs. As I said before, we were really lucky with the weather as the following day it snowed – so I definitely wouldn’t have been able to use the flowers in the photographs in the same way!

Alex’s testimonial:

Alex said: “Danny was the photographer for our wedding and was genuinely spot on. He got all the photos we asked for and did lots of really nice individual ones too. Top notch!” (Full review available on my Facebook page)

It’s always great to get feedback from couples about their wedding photos. I’m so pleased they like them and have a selection of wedding photographs to treasure for years to come.
