Audley’s Wood Hotel Wedding

If I had to describe Carla and Marc’s Audley’s Wood Hotel wedding in one word it would probably be ‘Vegas’ as this theme wedding oozed the opulent charm and style of the fabulous Las Vegas throughout the whole day.

From the Vegas colour scheme of a rich royal blue and black  to the fabulous table feathers and fun casino tables that wowed the evening guests, this wedding at Audley’s Wood Hotel had it all!

The cake was cleverly created in a Las Vegas style and there were even playing chips adorned with the bride and groom’s names and wedding date on the tables during the wedding breakfast – so cute! Every little detail had been thought about with such care to make it a truly personal day making it a complete joy to photograph.

Marc and his groomsmen looked dapper in blue suits and Carla looked every inch the blushing bride in her dress with gorgeous lace embellished arms. Despite the kitten heels she still managed to indulge in her love of football by having a kick about with her bridesmaids (if you follow women’s football you may spot a few familiar faces in the photos) after tying the knot with her first love, Marc.

Audley’s Wood Hotel was a fabulous backdrop for the big day, which is a fabulous romantic hotel in the heart of Hampshire. It’s not the first time I’ve shot at this venue and I can see why Carla and Marc picked it as it has such stature and perfectly manicured gardens looking out over fields – just perfect for their late summer wedding.

I also liked the way the hotel separated out the wedding ceremony in the main house and then allowed a favulous party to be created in the marquee situated in the glorious grounds so it very much felt like a private function.

Finally, a big shout out to Alanna Betambeau – aka Mrs Toastmaster– who kept the day running without a hitch!

All in all a glamourous, emotional and carefully crafted wedding day and joy to photograph.
