Heron’s Farm wedding
Sarah made a beautiful bride at her elegant early autumn wedding to Alex at Heron’s Farm in Pangbourne.
I’d not shot at this venue before but it offered some beautiful rustic charm that contrasted perfectly against the delicate details that Sarah and Alex had meticulously planned for their big day.
Heron’s Farm is is definitely great for countryside weddings and we were lucky enough to have some beautiful bursts of sunshine throughout the day, which provided us with that all important golden hour glow.
We even managed to get a silhouette shot with gorgeous pale pink and yellow hues – one of my favourite photos from the day.
What I also loved about this Heron’s Farm wedding was the little quirky details, for example Sarah’s Converse All Stars and Alex’s Superman Lego figurine in his button hole. I always take photos of these little details as they are really special to the wedding couple. However, I know from my own wedding that on the day itself you don’t always get time to drink in the full atmosphere, so these photos create a nice record. It’s good to know that my wedding couples have these detail shots to look back and reflect on when they are not so swept up in the wedding bubble.

“Thank you so much. It was a tough day weather-wise and you were brilliant from start to finish. We can’t thank you enough for all your hard work. Couldn’t have wanted a better photographer to join us on our journey in to married life.”
