Natasha and Gerry 2

Natasha & Gerry’s Reading Registry Office wedding

It was a bitterly cold January day when Natasha and Gerry tied the knot at Reading Registry Office during a simple and elegant wedding ceremony.

Natasha and Gerry opted for a intimate wedding ceremony at the venue, which was attended by a handful of relatives, as they are planning a much larger celebration in August.

Despite the chilly winds we managed to get out into the grounds of Yeomanry House, which is a Georgian building on the outskirts of the town centre and is home to Reading Registry Office.

The groom was dressed in a very on-trend blue suit while the bride saved her big gown moment for her wedding celebration in August, instead opting for a pretty dress adorned with pale grey birds and complemented by a bright pink shrug to fight off the January chill. This colour blocking of pink and blue provided a dash of brightness to the wedding photographs and contrasted against the winter sky.

We managed to get a number of special couple shots before it became too cold and poor Natasha started to shiver, these were complemented by some special family photos inside the building to mark the occasion.

I’m now looking forward to capturing the next chapter of Natasha and Gerry’s love story at their much larger wedding day celebration at The Hilton in Reading this summer.
